A dental bridge is a custom-made, artificial tooth made of porcelain that replaces one or more missing teeth. It is supported by adjacent teeth or by a dental implant, and is attached from the gum line to resemble a real tooth. Bridges look completely natural, and are tinted to match the color of your existing teeth. There are three types of dental bridges.
TRADITIONAL BRIDGES
Traditional bridges are made for those who are missing a tooth between natural teeth. A bridge is made between the two natural teeth, with the artificial fit in between.
They are the most common bridge procedure.

MARYLAND BRIDGES
Maryland bridges are made differently with plastic teeth and gums that are held together by a metal structure. The metal is bonded to the natural teeth on either side.
