I earned my bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from UNC in 1991. I enjoy educating and getting to know each of my patients in the private practice setting and teaching a new generation of dental hygienists part time at CFCC. Outside of work, I enjoy living on our beautiful NC coast, gardening, and spending time with my husband, two cats and a dog.

I started in dentistry as a dental assistant, I realized my passion was for helping people improve their oral health. To pursue my passion, I enrolled at Wayne CC and graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Seeing my patients take ownership of their oral hygiene and witnessing positive outcomes motivates me everyday.
